Sangiovese Bianco Toscano Igt Bio

Production Area: Magliano (Grosseto) in Tuscany

Type of Soil: clay, rich in minerals and limestone

Annual Production: 12.000 Bottles

Harvest: manual, in mid-September

Vinification: light pressing of the whole grapes, static cold decanting, fermentation in stainless steel at a temperature of 15°C; wine is left on the lees for 6 months 

Ageing: at least 3 months in bottle

Tasting Notes:

  • colour: pale powder with straw yellow nuances
  • nose: fruity, hints of small berries and a touch of spiciness
  • taste: fresh, smooth, fruity, well-balanced acidity and excellent persistence

Certification: ICEA - Naturland Fair

Note: since colour of wine is in the skin, Sangiovese Bianco Toscano Igt can only be obtained by exclusively selection of healthy and intact grapes, with a good level of acidity and at the right stage of ripeness. It is only the flower must, with very little colour, that is then left to ferment slowly for 2 weeks
