Altitude: 400 mt/above sea level

Year of Planting: the nineties 

Pruning System: Guyot

Production: approximately 1 kg of grapes per vine

Harvest: by hand in boxes, at the beginning of October

Vinification: destemming and soft pressing of the grapes; fermentation and maceration at controlled temperature in oak French casks for about 25 days with numerous pumping-downs and delestage

Maturing: in new barriques of French oak for about 24 months

Ageing: in bottle for about 12 months

Tasting Notes:

  • colour: intense purple red
  • nose:  ample with hints of blackberry and blueberry
  • taste: velvety with notes of cocoa, vanilla and licorice; full-bodied with well-balanced and pleasing touch of tannins and a long persistent final
