Production Area: vineyard located in Madonna di Como, Alba (Cuneo)

Altitude: 280-340 mt./a.s.l.

Type of Soil: clavey, calcareous

Pruning System: guyot

Yield per Hectare: 80 quintals, severe thinning in the vineyard

Harvest Period: last ten days of September

Vinification: fermentation in stainless steel at controlled temperature between 28-30°C for about 10 days; frequent pumping over and then malolactic fermentation

Aging: 12 months in steel tanks

  • nose: complex and intense; fresh fruit, spices and balsamic notes
  • taste: silky, harmonius, pleasant and fresh; right acidity and long and persistent finish
