Area of production: vineyards of property located in Bogogno and Romagnano Sesia; year of planting 1996

2007 production: 13,000 bottles

Vinification: 24 hours of maceration after crushing of the grapes, alcoholic fermentation at controlled temperature with addition of selected yeasts, lasting about eight days

Aging: Six months in large barrel of 50 hl., about three months of rest in bottle before sale.

Alcoholic content: 13,00°

Tasting notes:

  • color: bright ruby red with hints of purple
  • scent: in principle, full-bodied and fragrant, ripe cherries and currants, with a few minutes of aeration in the glass acquires complexity and charm, expressing pleasant aromas, slightly rusty, and a elegant colour floral.
  • taste: the mouth is lively and lean, pleasantly structured with a tannic texture, light in character, has a good density of fruit on the palate and a nice return to the roots and medical herbs to the retronaso.
