Place of origin: south of lake Garda in the land of Lugana, an’ altitude of 50 meters above sea level.
Type of terrain: flat, with soil highly calcareous clay, rich in mineral salts
Grape variety: Turbiana or Trebbiano di Lugana 100%
Yield: 10.000/11.000 kg /hectare
Harvest: the beginning of the third decade of September, hand picking in small crates
Vinification: in white and soft pressing of the grapes with a maximum extraction of 60% of the must flower. Fermentation in stainless steel tanks.
Ageing: 4/5 months in stainless steel tanks, bottling in several stages from February to September of the next year, the collection put on the market after 2 / 3 months of rest in bottle.
Alcohol content: 12,5 % vol.
Total acidity: 6,9 g/l
Dry extract: 24,5 g/l
Residual sugar: 7.8 g/l
Features: it is a wine that is noted for distinctive character, finesse and persistence on the palate. Color bright, intense straw yellow, it best expresses the characteristics of the wines of Lugana, a big body, a delicate aroma and a complex bouquet and refined. And’ particularly suitable with fish, white meats and appetizers.
Excellent as an aperitif.
For his strong personality goes well with sweet foods.
