The characteristics of the terrain: Ground hilly, mainly clay and marl with natural resources of minerals and trace elements. Exposure South - South-East
Harvest: A harvest rather early allows to obtain a product of the right alcohol content and acidity, while preserving to the maximum floral and fruity aromas. Manual harvest in crates, with sorting of the grapes on the vine.
Vinification: soft Pressing of the whole grapes with pneumatic presses. Sedimentation natural cold. The first fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks with constant temperature control at 18°.
Partial aging in barrique before the draw.
Maturation: bottled (tirage) in spring next year of harvest; - fermentation and re-fermentation in the bottle, with selected yeasts, and subsequent aging on the same for a minimum of 42 months in cellars at a constant temperature of between 12° and 15°.
Best time to drink: after 6 months from the date of disgorgement
Tasting notes and food pairings: Villa Franciacorta Cuvette Brut millesimato presents golden reflections, fine and persistent perlage. The nose is intense and intriguing, feelings of crusty soft bread alternate, fruit and sweet spices. Has great structure and remarkable softness. Thanks to its eye-catching character is referred to as Franciacorta throughout the meal.
