Classification: AOP Costières de Nimes - Certified Bio

Type of Soil: rolled pebbles from the Rhone atop red clay rich in iron

Vinification: handpicked harvest with 3⁄4 destemmed and 1⁄4 whole cluster; fermentation at controlled temperature of 24°C with delestages to retain the fruit flavors

Aging: 9 month, half wine in French oak barrels and half in concrete tanks

Longevity: 7 years

Tasting Notes:

  • colour: dark ruby red
  • nose: elegant and intense, bouquet of violet, blood orange, pepper and licorice with "garrigue" spices
  • taste: rich and harmonious, the complexity of the aromas play out progressively; its fresh finish with hints of red fruits and rhubarb reveals delicate and superbly ripe tannins
