Characteristics of Soil: Calcareous, Clayey, Gravelly.

Period of Harvest: Late harvesting of the grapes affected by “Noble rot”, caused by the fungus Botrytis Cinerea.

Vinification: In oak barrels

Ageing: 1 year in oak barrels and 2 years in bottle.

Tasting notes:

  • color: yellow amber
  • bouquet: to the nose we find notes of honey, acacia, vanilla, citrus, apricots
  • taste: in the mouth enhances the taste of fruity, soft, round, enveloping, with the long final

Alcohol content: 14% vol.

Serving temperature: 8° - 10° C.

Food pairings: a perfect wine, served as an aperitif, with dried fruit, Roquefort, gingerbread and cheese or hors d'oeuvres indian or asian. Perfection is achieved on the items to exotic, melon, foie gras ... It goes well with white meat dishes, poultry, fish sauce, or asian cuisine, agrees remarkably with all cheeses, especially blue-veined cheeses, finally, enhances the flavor of chocolate desserts, fruit tarts, sorbets or fruit salads.
